Touching your face

Summary

Effectiveness

2/3

Useful to limit irritation and marks, especially if you often scratch or squeeze your pimples. The gain depends on these starting habits.

Accessibility

3/3

No equipment or session: some guidelines in situations where the hands automatically return to the face.

Keep your hands away from your face when there is no reason for them to be there. The habits to be corrected as a priority are scratching imperfections, pressing pimples and repeated rubbing. Manipulating an already inflamed area can prolong its red appearance and increase the risk of marks or scarring.

Identify the gesture that comes up most often, then give your hands another position: on the desk, on your thighs or busy with your task. For care and shaving, wash your hands before starting. The goal is to eliminate unnecessary operations that are repeated throughout the day.
