Bedding

How to use

A fixed day and a spare game

Choose a day of the week to change the bed linen and associate it with an already regular task, such as cleaning. Keep a clean second set and a few extra pillowcases on hand. You can make the bed immediately, then wash and dry the linen used without depending on a machine finished the same evening.

The pillowcase can be changed separately

Plan a pillow change mid-week if your hair is oily, if you use styling products or if you sweat a lot. A damp, stained or product-laden pillowcase should be changed as soon as necessary. No need to wait for the next wash of the entire bed: the replacement pillowcases are precisely to keep this action easy.

Wash according to fabric, then dry completely

Follow the label to choose the program and dose the detergent according to the load and the manufacturer's instructions. Leave enough room for laundry in the drum so that it can be washed and rinsed. Place it back on the bed once completely dry. In case of allergy to dust mites, a cycle at 60°C is recommended if the textile supports it.

Choose easy-to-maintain linen

When purchasing, choose bedding that you can actually wash at your planned frequency. Machine-washable cotton is a common practical choice; especially check the care instructions and comfort in contact with the skin. An expensive material that complicates each wash does little if it means spacing out changes.

Limit deposits before bed

Integrate facial cleansing into your evening routine and remove products that need to be rinsed out. After a sports session, avoid going to bed still covered in sweat. If a hair product seems to cause spots, change the product too: washing the pillowcase removes the residue, but their source also matters.
