Body cleansing

Summary

Effectiveness

3/3

Washing removes dirt, residue and some of the odor-causing substances. Its effect on cleanliness is immediate.

Accessibility

3/3

A few minutes, lukewarm water and an affordable cleanser are enough. No special accessories are needed; the hands already allow us to wash the body.

A good shower removes perspiration, dirt and products left on the skin without leaving it dry or irritated. Use lukewarm water and a small amount of mild cleanser, spread with your hands. Think about armpits, folds, feet and areas that have received sunscreen, then rinse thoroughly and dry without rubbing.

Adapt the frequency to your activity and your skin. After sports or a messy day, washing is useful; taking multiple long, very hot showers is much less so. If the skin feels tight, shorten the shower, choose a better-tolerated formula and moisturize dry areas. Abrasive gloves and antibacterial gels are not necessary for daily washing.
